1. OpenAI eyes the healthcare space: The ChatGPT owner is reportedly considering an expansion into consumer health apps, such as an AI-powered personal health assistant. The groundwork’s already laid: OpenAI launched HealthBench in May (a benchmark developed with 262 physicians to evaluate AI health capabilities), made strategic hires, and noted “more useful health answers” as a key feature in GPT-5.
2. Robinhood may let retail traders invest in AI startups: The brokerage platform reportedly plans to offer shares in a fund holding 4-5 “best in class” private AI companies. Investors could buy into the fund (not the startups directly), gaining indirect exposure to the AI companies. One catch? The fund would be closed-end, meaning that investors could not sell their shares at will.
3. Gamma, the “anti-PowerPoint“ AI startup, hits $2.1 billion valuation: The AI startup helps users generate presentations, websites, and content, powered by simple prompts.
